| In 1957, Vrogum was founded as a joiner's workshop in the small village of Vrogum in the western part of Denmark by a man called Lars Peter Molgaard. Ten years later - in 1967 - the demand for good craftsmanship and in particular for wooden windows and doors had increased, and thus the company specialised in manufacturing these. At the same time the company changed it's name to Vrogum Vinduer A/S. 1972, Vrogum's workshop facilities became too small and the company moved to the neighbouring village of Oksbol, in which it is still situated today. Since then, Vrogum has continued to expand - today having more than 10.000 m² under roof and approximately 85 employees. Since January 2003, the managing director at Vrogum has been Henrik Svarre. As of 1. July 2005 he has taken over the business and runs it under the company name of Vrogum A/S. |

![]() | In 2004, Vrogum was awarded a special prize by ” Dansk Industri” (Confederation of Danish Industries), as best pioneer in the category small and medium-sized enterprises. The main reason for the prize being awarded to Vrogum was our web-based programme, which enables customers and distributors to design custom products according to individual requirements. The system also calculates the price and makes a drawing of the finished windows and doors. |
