We always use slow growing pinewood from Northern Scandinavia because the long winters and short summers in that area give the tree it's close growth rings - and close growth rings give the wood strength, hardness and a remarkable resistance. The wood is sorted thoroughly ensuring a great share of heartwood thus ensuring a high quality and long lasting end product.
